The 4th part of the Outland series presents a bunch of novelties in sound. Modern Technology made a lot of musical combinations possible that had been impossible to produce in the past. "We waited one year for a new software to finish this album. There was no way to do the music without it..." Pete Namlook was not interested in a compromise so a lot of FAX collectors had to wait. The result is a music that combines the power of Bill Laswell's bass and ethnic sounds as well as Pete's electronics that lead to a style that includes advanced Digital Signal Processing on the one hand as well as ancient instruments played at their original Hemisphere on the other.
A step forward in the field of Ethno-Electronic Music.
